Tom Corde, the first member of the Mason County Royals' 1,000 point club, was named to the All-MAC Team his senior season at Ohio University. He was drafted by the New York Knicks in 1972. He shares stories about growing up in Washington and his basketball career.

Joe Goecke is a 1961 graduate of Augusta High School. He is 10th on the Panthers' all-time scoring list. He scored 62 points vs. Nicholas County including 45 points in one half. He was recruited by Coach Joe B. Hall to play basketball at Regis College in Denver, Colorado.

Kidwell was inducted into the Morehead State University Alumni Hall of Fame in October.
